3A Print implemented an information system of accounting of requests in network of Giperglobus hypermarkets

The 3A Print company, the developer of information systems, announces implementation of an information system of accounting of requests in Globus company. Globus is the international network of hypermarkets, with shops in Germany, the Czech Republic and Russia. At the moment in Russia 7 Giperglobus hypermarkets in the different cities of Russia are provided.

Project Tasks

Acceleration and simplification of maintaining base of requests of own purchases and requests in technical departments of the company was a main objective of implementation of "the System of accounting of Requests". The implemented system allows to organize order taking work, both at the central office, and in shops of the company. The staff of the company selects goods necessary to them from the directory or creates the order in a free form then they control the course of accomplishment of the request. All transactions are available via the web interface. The staff of purchasing department quickly traces and processes requests.

"Suitable ready-made solutions in the market were not therefore after the analysis of a situation the decision to develop a system under own tasks with involvement of developers 3A Print was made. Using the implemented system we achieved increase in efficiency of purchasing department - time of passing and approval of requests was reduced, the number of the wrong, duplicative and "hung up" requests decreased. Development of a system

A system is open for expansion of functionality and is regularly complemented. In development process for the system of requests the module for work of technical service with requests for service and replacement of the equipment was added.

Project parts

For development of the system of requests client-server FileMaker DBMS, popular in the USA and Europe, was used. All information is stored on the server in the central office, and remote access from shops is provided using FileMaker IWP technology (Instant Web Publishing).
