The Assino company created and started the web portal for suppliers of network of Globus hypermarkets. Announced the press services of the partner companies in the project an event, on October 3, 2012.
Task
The portal is designed to increase efficiency of communications of Globus company with numerous partners.
Result
The portal serves as uniform point of entry for suppliers, providing them with up-to-date information on accounts, claims, the change in price and the carried-out actions, and to the staff of Globus allows to get uninterrupted access to all data on purchases, logistics and accounting. Use of the portal gives to Globus the chance to reduce labor costs by data processing of suppliers, to optimize logistic processes and, finally, to offer to the partners more comfortable terms of cooperation, and to buyers – advantageous price conditions.
The project manager Dmitry Teplitsky, assino company, noted: "When implementing the project we were faced by a major problem on integration of information flows from the different financial accounting systems (SAP FI/CO) used by Globus company and automation of trade. For these purposes the integration SEEBURGER Business Integration Server platform was selected. This product is already used by network of hypermarkets in Europe and allows to adjust in the future direct exchange of electronic data with key partners and in Russia, having performed integration with suppliers at the level of the accounting systems. The add-on modules developed by us provide convenient submission of aggregated data in the web interface. Taking into account a large number of partners of network and volumes of document flow absolutely critical was to provide the high performance and fault tolerance of the portal and to guarantee protection of transmitted data".
Juergen Scherer, the Chief information officer, Globus company told: "The partner portal for Globus network – the convenient instrument of vendor interaction. It allows to increase considerably efficiency of our business, having integrated different business processes and having reduced order processing time. This project was a difficult task, both for Globus, and for assino and demanded from us to organize joint work within several divisions of the company. As a result we received the finished multifunction solution which completely meets our initial expectations".
