January 29, 2015. The company Rosselkhozbank announced completion of project implementation on system implementation of stream input, storage and management of client documents for banking operations using solutions ABBYY FlexiCapture and IBM FileNet. The project is executed by the company Business Logic (IT Group).

Project Objective

Project objective of Rosselkhozbank on creation of a system of input, processing and storage of the client documents arriving in paper form — increase in efficiency and service quality.

Project Progress

The system of stream input and document storage is developed and implemented by Business Logic company in 6 months using solutions ABBYY FlexiCapture and IBM FileNet and includes subsystems of scanning, recognition, verification and document storage. Within the project specialists of Business Logic developed templates for the automated processing of 10 document types of bank.

Operation algorithm in a system such: the staff of structural divisions in regional bank branches prepares sets of client documents, performs their scanning and sending for processing (recognition). Then verification (verification) of the recognized data about the scan images of documents and export to the electronic storage of documents (ESD) where they remain in a hierarchical structure of the EHD directories is made. Further document handling is performed according to the powers designated within job responsibilities of each of employees of the bank.

The electronic data warehouse is integrated with information banking system and allows to exchange a metainformation on the scanned documents.

Result

A new system allowed bank to reduce significantly document transfer terms from employees of the front office to a back office, to centralize their storage and to provide online access to them and also to reduce risks of loss and damage of documents. The new solution is used at head office of bank and also in structural divisions of 78 regional branches. Using a system employees of the bank process and manage the large volume of documents — 4 million pages a month. And within three years the volume of documents as is predicted, will increase by 3 times.
