The Bell Integrator company completed the project of creation of a system of protection of crucial data for Kar-Tel LLP on the basis of the solution IBM Guardium.

Background

The Kar-Tel company pursued the aim to protect critical data which are processed by an information system of settlings with subscribers of Amdocs Ensemble and also customer relationship management systems (CRM) and CCBO. First of all service and financial information about subscribers of the company whose quantity according to 2010 exceeds 6.8 million belongs to such data human.

Result

The implemented solution IBM Guardium which is the system of audit of requests to DBMS allows to trace all possible requests to databases and actions in them. According to the head of department of information security of Kar-Tel LLP Yury Kostrubov, product introduction of IBM Guardium allowed "to increase considerably the level of information security within the company as allows to reduce time of investigation and reaction to cybersecurity incidents, thanks to the operational notification about violations of security policies".

Opinion

"Such opportunities of the solution Guardium as identification of suspicious activities in databases in real time, protection them from unauthorized actions and making changes, a possibility of control of actions of the administrators managing access to databases allow us to insure as much as possible confidential information of our subscribers from leak" - Yury Kostrubov comments.

The project of creation of SZKI (the system of protection and control of information) implemented by Bell Integrator company for Kar-Tel LLP included preproject inspection of information systems of the Customer, product introduction of IBM Guardium and training.

Bell Integrator implemented E2E monitoring in KAR-Tel LLP

The Bell Integrator company implemented the project on service monitoring process automation House Internet to summer of 2012. The implemented project allowed to increase quality of the provided services for Internet access and also to improve service quality of subscribers in general.

The monitoring system of E2E FTTB is intended for quality control of services of Internet access for subscribers of broadband access in real time. The similar solution allows to reveal problem sections on all sequence of the interconnected systems, including accumulation of queues on separate nodes. Using measure calculation on the processing speed of messages on nodes and sections of a system and convenient data visualization the solution facilitates work on control of parameters of service. In turn, these indicators form a basis for quality evaluation of the services provided or consumed by the Company.
