Project Progress

In 2012 the Ameta Pro company implemented a pilot project of creation of a budget monitoring system from the single console of all main types of servers of bank (IBM System X, System P) and DWH of initial level. System implementation of monitoring and management of the multiplatform equipment of IBM (servers and DWH) Amet Pro's specialists allowed bank to solve the following problems the scale of all of geographically distributed IT infrastructure of bank

• inventories of configurations of the equipment IT infrastructures on groups (arrangement, OS solved tasks, used, etc.)
• effective control and management of IT infrastructure from the single console
• increase fault tolerance of IT infrastructure
• automate process of the order of spare parts in IBM service
• reduce total cost of ownership and load of IT personnel

Result

The implemented solution allowed to exercise also control of energy consumption of the equipment IT infrastructures on groups, and if necessary and to manage it by means of a task of threshold values of electricity consumption by this or that group.

Development Plans

Further the bank is going to expand monitoring systems on all servers standing in different divisions of bank.
