In 2010 the Sciener company completed SAP implementation of ERP in IDGC of Centre company. Project Objective: creation of a management system for technology assets (EAM).

Details

At the end of 2009 technical specialists of JSC IDGC of Centre prepare and approve key control techniques by technology assets which then should have been integrated into a system in the form of the normative reference information and algorithms of data processing. In techniques the content and structure of NSI on the basis of which asset management is exercised was already determined.

Together with technical specialists of the energy company and consultants of SCIENER — the IT partner of JSC IDGC of Centre — in implementation process of this project rules of identification of objects, maintaining their structure thanks to which became possible quickly to create, look for and update data in base of technical objects are set. All structure of network of the enterprise is mastered by users on places approximately in 3 months.

Process of formation of base of complex technical objects (substations, transmission lines and so forth) with the units installed on them in JSC IDGC of Centre continued about a year and was called "certification of the equipment". All divisions concerning asset management under the leadership of professional experts in the equipment participated in its providing.

At the same time in a system the archive of electronic copies of all collected documents which were a certification basis, with their reference to the specific equipment was created. Unfortunately, existence of passports in electronic form was a certification bottleneck. This space is filled with collective efforts: the number of the equipment with passport data in a system reached 14.5 million pieces.

The base of the equipment created in the course of certification served not only for accounting and updating of data on managed objects, but also for registration and the analysis of a current status of units. Now about 3 million measured parameters are involved in a system. Monthly in a foreground mode users register about 1.5 million results of tests and measurements.

Fast entering of data of diagnostics and accounting of damageability into a system on the basis of base of the equipment and the stated above reference books at once allowed to observe flowing statuses of an asset and to keep track of dynamics of change of its parameters in time, fixing at the same time defects, damages, failures and shutdowns and also the reasons of their emergence. In parallel in a system actions for service and repairs of the equipment with indication of terms, structure, amount of completed work and the incured costs were registered.

Result

The functionality of formation of algorithms of calculations of the resulting parameters which is built in a system (EAM laboratory), developed by specialists of SCIENER gives the chance:

  • define a condition of equipment on the basis of the primary data entered into a system;
  • test an algorithm on real data, model calculation results, save versions of algorithms;
  • enter status assessment algorithms users of the ITR level using the corresponding interface;
  • to online update the index of a status of an object in a system.

The received results and calculation procedure are specified on statistical data which are also delivered by an information system. The resulting parameters of assessment of a condition of equipment and an algorithm of their calculation are exposed to the permanent expert analysis and adjustment. This process continues until a system does not begin to fix steadily effective values confirmed in practice.

Proceeding from the put algorithm, on the basis of indexes of a status, risks, failure probability and their influence on the index of a status and also the reference information about types, cost and frequency of influence a system by comparison of terms and priorities defines a preferable type and term of impact on an object.

As a result there is a technical program — the list of the equipment with recommendations of terms and types of influence. After that case is started by specialists under whose authority the equipment is. Only they can consider factors which were not put in the algorithms described above. Behind them there is the last stage of operational development (adjustment) of the technical program, drawing up plans of repairs, replacements, reconstruction.

Obligatory stage of implementation of functionality of EAM (asset management) in JSC IDGC of Centre is preparation of the regulating documentation on work of this functionality within the existing business processes of management of technology assets. It is about procedures, regulations of work of the users and instructions considering integration aspects and operating conditions of all information system in which asset management components work.
