Start in commercial operation Transit 2.0

The "Rosseti Center and Volga Region" company within digital transformation of treasurer function of Rosseti Group brought into commercial operation the platform for transfer of financial messages "Transit 2.0" the National Settlement Depositary (NSD). Announced this MNR on August 10, 2020.

Implementation of domestic digital solutions is a basis of digital transformation in "Rosseti the Center" and "Rosseti the Center and Volga region". Use of the Transit 2.0 platform will allow us to reach other qualitative interoperability layer with partner banks, - Igor Makovsky, the CEO "Rosseti the Center" - management company "Rosseti the Center and Volga region" emphasized.

Pilot transactions through the Transit 2.0 platform were carried out "Rosseti the Center and Volga region" jointly with Sberbank and Gazprombank in the spring of 2020. Since August 3, 2020 the company passed to large-scale implementation of payments using this multibank gateway.

Project implementation became possible thanks to participation of the developer of the platform - National settlement depositary and also Gazprombank and a command of Uniform treasury of the Rosseti group. Further we plan connection to work through "Transit 2.0" all partner banks, - Artem Alyoshin, the Deputy General Manager for Economics and to finance "Rosseti the Center" noted.

We are glad to continue interaction with the companies of the Rosseti group. The national settlement depositary offers the platform for work of corporations and their clearing banks. "Transit 2.0", created based on the existing service for interaction with stock market participants, has a number of key advantages: multibanking, speed, and, above all, - reliability of level of systemically significant financial institution, - Alexander Nam, the managing director for technology services of NSD noted.

Carrying out pilot transactions through "Transit 2.0"

On March 5, 2020 Sberbank reported that it together with Gazprombank carried out pilot transactions through the Transit 2.0 platform with Rosseti group. Transactions were performed within digital transformation of treasurer function of group in subsidiary "Rosseti the Center and Volga region" in Nizhny Novgorod.

A developer of the platform is the National settlement depositary (NSD), recognized Bank of Russia systemically by the significant infrastructure organization financial of the market. The NSD is included into group "Moscow Exchange" which major shareholders are Bank Russia Sberbank, ВЭБ.РФ and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
