Asteros began replication of the ERP system of SAP in branches "IDGC of Siberia"

On February 10, 2011 it became known that the Asteros company began replication of the ERP system of SAP in the IDGC of Siberia branch network. The created solution will cover central office and 8 branches, and the total number of users will be 3 thousand human.

Project Tasks

Among first-priority strategic tasks of the energy company there is an improvement of corporate management, increase in investment attractiveness, providing financial statements according to international standards. For implementation of these plans by company management the decision on creation of a single system for conducting financial and economic activity on the SAP platform was made.

Pilot project

In 2010 in central office of management "IDGC of Siberia" and Krasnoyarskenergo branch the pilot project based on mySAP ERP and SAP BI was executed.

Project Progress

Consultants of Asteros began replication of the ERP system in 7 other branches of the company: Altayenergo, Buryatenergo, "Kuzbassenergo is the distribution zone", Omskenergo, Khakasenergo, Chitaenergo, "The Gorno-Altaysk electric networks". Within the project defects of the pilot will be eliminated and a system for support of key business processes is unrolled: conducting accounting and tax accounting, formation of budgets, cost management and investments, purchases and supply of materials and services, stocks, contractual relations and also real estate administration. After project completion in the system of SAP 3 thousand employees of "IDGC of Siberia" will work.

For a support and maintenance of difficult geographically distributed Enterprise resource planning and also centralized operation by its further development consultants of Asteros will deploy the SAP solution Solution Manager. With its help process of system testing will be automated and also work of service Service Desk is adjusted, monitoring and administration of a system, management of the project documentation and system configuration is organized.
