Rostec will be engaged in digitalization of power supply networks in the North Caucasus and in the Southern Federal District

2019: Agreement signature about cooperation in IT and communication

On December 4, 2019 the company Rostec reported that it "Ruselectronics" signed agreements with the companies "Rosseti South" and "Rosseti North Caucasus" about cooperation in the area information technologies and communications and also in the field of development and production of the modern hi-tech import-substituting equipment for objects of an electric grid.

According to the company, according to arrangements Ruselectronics will implement in infrastructure of an electric grid modern diagnostic systems and monitoring of technology equipment, the system of relay protection and automatic equipment, the engineering systems and also systems technical and commercial accounting electric power. The enterprises of Rostec will also develop the global and local systems of communications, video conferencings and telephony for an electric grid.

Digital transformation of an electric grid of Russia – one of key problems of the country. Joint work with Rosseti is conducted in a number of the directions: it is information security, creation of the systems of intellectual electricity metering, development of TEConts of objects of the energy sector. Implementation of digital solutions in power grid infrastructure of regions of Russia will increase stability and quality of power supply. Within the signed agreements creation of joint Competence Center concerning information security and data protection of crucial infrastructure facilities is also planned. Examination of IT and infrastructure projects, development of solutions in information security field, their certification and the subsequent implementation will become functions of the center.

Application of products of a MIC and implementation of developments will allow to increase observability of the equipment of an electric grid. It, in turn, will affect reliability of power supply of consumers due to timely response to deviations of parameters of the equipment, preventing the most part of accidents and technology violations.
