Rosreestr buys servers and information security software for 1.15 billion rubles

At the end of March 2024, Rosreestr announced a tender for the purchase of solutions for the IT infrastructure of the departmental information security incident management center. The Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography is ready to spend 1.15 billion rubles on the implementation of this project.

As CNews writes with reference to public procurement materials, Rosreestr plans to purchase three types of servers:

  • 76 pieces at a price of 1.6 million rubles (in the configuration of the equipment there will be one 16-core processor with a base frequency of 2 GHz, at least 64 GB of RAM, two SSD-drives with a size of at least 480 GB);
  • 8 pieces for 2.7 million rubles (at least two 26-core processors with a base frequency of 2 GHz, 128 GB of RAM, two SSD-drives with a volume of at least 960 GB);
  • 8 units of 5.2 million rubles each (at least two 26-core processors with a base frequency of 2 GHz, 256 GB of RAM, SSDs with a total volume of 3.84 TB and eight hard drives with a capacity of at least 8 TB each).

According to the representative of Fplus, the servers of many Russian manufacturers fall under such requirements, since equipment for information security tasks does not have to be high-performance, and therefore it can be manufactured, most likely, by everyone who is represented in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

It is quite possible to import replace the servers purchased before the sanctions with the requested equipment, Fplus is sure.

In particular, Rosreestr will acquire three utilities: the information security event monitoring subsystem (PMSIB), the security analysis subsystem and the protection subsystem against targeted attacks with the cyber threat detection component.[1]
