IT systems of Crowne Plaza St.Petersburg Airport hotel

LANIT performed works on equipment of Crowne Plaza St.Petersburg Airport hotel in St. Petersburg as modern IT systems.

The Crowne Plaza St.Petersburg Airport hotel is a part of the multifunction complex "AEROPORTSITI St. Petersburg" and is located in close proximity to the international airport "Pulkovo 2". The AEROPORTSITI St. Petersburg complex is one of the most large-scale projects in the field of a commercial real estate of North-West Region. The grand opening of hotel was held at the end of December, 2011. The new hotel has 294 numbers, restaurant, bar, cafe, 11 conference rooms, gym, business center. Crowne Plaza St.Petersburg Airport is under control of InterContinental Hotels Group company.

The LANIT company won tender for creation of the IT infrastructure of hotel including a data network, computing infrastructure, the systems of telephone communication, interactive television and information support of public zones.

The data network is built using the equipment of Cisco Systems company. According to standards of a brand, physically separated office and guest segments are created. The coverage of Wi-fi extends to all premises of hotel (Internet access is provided by Mikenopa company).

During creation of a system of telephone communication of hotel the equipment and solutions of Alcatel-Lucent company is used. A system includes digital telephone exchange with the duplicated processor, IP phones and operator consoles for the staff of hotel, a billing system "Barsum of the Missile defense". In guest numbers and public zones of hotel analog telephones of the Bittel UNO series are installed.

According to standards of a brand, at creation of computing infrastructure the equipment of Hewlett-Packard company is used. The computing infrastructure constructed on the NR servers is used for system operation of management of Opera hotel, a management system for sales points of Micros, the SunSystems financial system and different office applications. Jobs of employees are equipped with stationary workstations and notebooks.

In the commonwealth with Smartek company of LANIT implemented the system of interactive hotel television OTRUM Enterprise. In hotel rooms and in public zones hotel TVs of Samsung are installed. As "transport" of a TV signal physically selected data transmission network segment constructed on the equipment of Cisco Systems company is used.

In hotel the system of dashboards is installed. LANIT together with Mikenopa company implemented the digital information system DigiPanels. As terminal units LCD displays of Samsung which are installed in a lobby of hotel and in a conference zone are used.
