On the ground land floor and at the second underground level two ice arenas of 30x60 meters in size are located. In the mixed zone for communication of journalists with athletes after the competitions the most large number of seats among the ice arenas involved in the Olympic Games of 2018 is set.

External finishing of the ice Kyonpkho hall (2018)

External finishing of the ice Kyonpkho hall harmoniously combines grace of figure skating and dynamics of short track. To create big open space, designers developed a roof from a complex system of steel tubular farms. The Dongbu Steel company using in the project of technology of information modeling (BIM) was responsible for their production and construction. For the detailed design of complex structure of steel tubular farms specialists of the contractor created its digital simulation in software of Tekla Structures of Trimble company.
