SuperWave Group – the leader in the Russian market of the hi-tech equipment who is among the largest suppliers of computers, office equipment for the house and office, component parts and supplies. In addition to the distribution direction, polygraphic production and the service center is a part of group.

Project Tasks

SuperWave Group endures rapid development: in recent years turnovers of group grew more, than twice. Because of enlargement of business and complication of internal processes there was obvious an urgent need in a single information platform. Besides, SuperWave constantly extends due to acquisition of the companies distributors across all Russia. To include them in the general corporate structure, the standardized processes which can be scaled on new business units are necessary.

System Selection

The solution on the choice of the platform for SuperWave Group was obvious – the group already had positive experience with the accounting systems of Microsoft within the polygraphic direction. Several years this production is automated based on Microsoft Dynamics AX which is supported and develops by forces of an internal command of the company.

"Now Microsoft Dynamics AH is one of the most widespread systems for automation of the companies distributors. Our experience of partner interaction on business and observation of competitors was shown that practically all select MS Dynamics AX. On a ratio "implementation cost – result – project risks" MS Dynamics AX becomes the optimal choice, in our industry it is practically the standard for setting of management accounting".

Alexander Petrenko, the chief financial officer and the project manager from SuperWave Group

Thus, the choice of the partner in implementation became the main objective. SuperWave Group management deeply studied the market, industry solutions and experience of integrators, compared qualification of project teams. As a result of competitive selection project implementation was entrusted CORUS Consulting group.

"Enormous experience of Corus Consulting in automation of trade allowed to implement our tasks in very compressed ambitious terms. And "KORUS|Distribution" based on Microsoft Dynamics AX with its broad functionality most fully satisfied the solution to our requirements".

Alexander Petrenko, the chief financial officer and the project manager from SuperWave Group

Implementation

The project had a number of features which allowed to show flexibility and universality of the solution "KORUS|Distribution". It was necessary to integrate within a single system a set of different businesses – for example, in addition to distribution of the Brother and Xerox equipment, business of SuperWave Group includes assembly and distribution of memory cards - it is perfect other processes and specifics: import deliveries of component parts and production.

Implementation in the system of specifics of business became one of the main lines of the project: the management of SuperWave Group made the decision not to change internal processes which already bring money and provide competitive advantage of the company. Therefore in a system "KORUS|Distribution" for SuperWave Group were implemented various settlement schemes support of a system of ribeyt and factoring schemes of payment, the difficult mechanism of supply chain management. The mechanism which allows to calculate financial performance was developed for accounting of project shipments it is consolidated, according to all nomenclature of delivery taking into account logistic, customs and indirect costs. Now sellers and management of the company can estimate marginality not only a specific position, but also complex shipment.

For a documentary design of different types of activity in a system more than 80 types of printed forms were created. Besides, the possibility of batch print of necessary documents was implemented: under each agreement and shipment in a system the packet of necessary documentation which can be printed in several "clicks" automatically forms. Such mechanism reduces labor costs of staff of customer relations department and minimizes errors.

"The project became this call for our command: it was necessary to start the main circuit of merchandising in only 4 months, including testing and input in commercial operation as in September "season" - sales growth in the market of the client begins. We managed to build effective interaction with a project team of the customer thanks to what became possible to reduce some stages of standard methodology. Besides, system implementation in so short time became possible only thanks to competent project team, with extensive experience of automation and understanding of trade processes. At each of the project staff of Corus Consulting behind the back of not less than 10 successfully implemented implementations".

Dmitry Vashchilov, the project manager from Corus Consulting

Results

In a system circuits of merchandising and financial accounting which cover all major business processes of the company – from planning and purchases before shipments to clients and the analytical reporting under results of activity are implemented. Besides, during the project the complex of uniform standards, procedures and regulations which together with a system can be scaled on new business units was created and will simplify their inclusion in structure of SuperWave Group.

"It would be desirable to note once again exclusive experience of a project team of Corus Consulting. Thanks to competent work of consultants of shipment and other vital business processes were executed in a system from the very first day of start. We have ideas for further development of a system, and we hope for continuation of effective cooperation from Corus Consulting
