the group of ATC completed an implementation project of Microsoft Dynamics NAV at the Russian enterprise EagleBurgmann.
EagleBurgmann group – one of the largest players in the market of the sealing equipment who is turning on 20 production sites and more than 130 service centers. The Russian enterprise EagleBurgmann was founded in April, 2006, and at the moment is one of nearly 50 subsidiary companies of group using Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
By Microsoft Dynamics NAV it was selected from quality of the new ERP platform of the Russian Eagle Burgmann company for a number of reasons. First, Microsoft Dynamics NAV is the corporate standard of the company and is implemented in most representations and child structures of EagleBurgmann. Secondly, the ERP system (1C) which is available at that time did not provide to the headquarters a transparent cut of activity of the Russian company – the reporting for head office was extorted from the accounting system and came down manually.
"We did not carry out the project of the choice of ERP – implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV was initiated by our head company. However for the first months of the project we felt improvements in work in comparison with our previous ERP system, 1C. On the Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform we received not only necessary functionality, but also the clear, convenient environment of work" - Larisa Orlova, the chief financial officer the Eagle Burgmann comments on the solution of the head company.
During an implementation project of Microsoft Dynamics NAV specialists of ATK consulting group developed the solution on the basis of a configuration of the basic solution EagleBurgmann taking into account the Russian specifics. At the moment a system covers all key functional units of the Eagle Burgmann company, such as accounting of customer relations (CRM), accounting of financial results, sales and purchases, goods and materials, etc. The functionality developed by specialists of ATK consulting group on the basis of Microsoft Dynamics NAV allowed to plan most effectively material and temporary resources on service maintenance. Besides, in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system employees the Eagle Burgmann can write off directly materials, working hours, business trips, to distribute all-shop expenses by each order, i.e. to calculate final cost value of service works taking into account all indirect expenses.
Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV in the Eagle Burgmann promoted significant increase in sales and reduction of trade inventories due to transparent planning process of purchases. Thanks to Microsoft Dynamics NAV the term of preparation of internal IFRS reporting was reduced since a week till 3-4 o'clock. Operational formation of all necessary reporting was highly appreciated not only in the company, but also in EagleBurgmann headquarters.
Larisa Orlova, the chief financial officer the Eagle Burgmann, told about results of implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV: "At the moment all corporate reporting is kept at us in one system that excludes duplication and discrepancies of information, accounting reports under Russian accounting standards and IFRS are implemented, and EagleBurgmann headquarters already estimated substantial increase of transparency of our activity.
