The Information Technology Center of the Krasnodar Territory has completed the migration from the Zabbix platform to the Russian monitoring system of the IT infrastructure "Remote." The developer of the domestic solution was the Laboratory Numerator company. The implemented system provides control over the regional multiservice network of executive bodies of the Krasnodar Territory. The transition to Russian software is related to the requirements of regulatory bodies on the use of domestic solutions for critical information infrastructure facilities. Information Technology Center LLC plays a key role in ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of information systems in the region. The main objective of the organization is technical support and development of IT solutions. The company monitors network nodes, server equipment and telecommunication facilities. The center has used the Zabbix monitoring system to control infrastructure for many years.
Regulatory requirements obliged all critical IT systems to operate exclusively using Russian software. Critical information infrastructure facilities should use domestic solutions. Dependence on foreign platforms poses risks to the security of government systems. The need for import substitution in the field of information technology has become an imperative for budgetary organizations.
To replace Zabbix, experts considered three solutions. As a result, the choice fell on the domestic monitoring system "Console" from the company "Laboratory Numerator." The decisive factors were several advantages of the product. Migration to the "Remote Control" was quick and without infrastructure failures.
