The insurance company Rosgosstrakh has completed a project to replace the critical data processing platform of a foreign manufacturer with a domestic solution. Cinimex has developed and implemented a new system based on the Python programming language. The main objective of the project was to increase the productivity and fault tolerance of the insurer's key business processes. This was reported by the press service of Cinimex on September 30, 2025.

The company's specialists replaced the Pentaho Data Integration platform with a proprietary solution. Pentaho Data Integration is being developed by the Japanese corporation Hitachi. The developers redesigned the system architecture, eliminating the need for many temporary tables and complex SQL scripts. Business logic has been translated into clear and easily supported ETL processes, which has improved the quality of data.

The new solution has increased the performance of data processing in the corporate data warehouse of Rosgosstrakh. System maintenance was simplified due to the rejection of redundant logic and duplicate elements. Work with data from different sources was centralized in a single tool. Centralization ensured the integrity and manageability of information processing processes.

Maxim Zharov, account manager for key clients of Cinimex, noted the complexity of the project. According to him, the developers needed to create a solution from scratch. At the same time, the new platform was supposed to become not just an analogue, but an improved version of the existing system. It was necessary to update the architecture and business logic, increasing the stability of all processes both at the level of information technology and at the level of business.

As a result of the implementation, data processing time was significantly reduced. The full cycle of calculation and parsing of quotations fits into the established SLA - 15 minutes. Compliance with the standard allows you to consider the goals of the project achieved. The insurance company received a tool that processes information faster than the previous decision.
