In half a year after start in production operation, JSC Bankomsvyaz received results from system implementation of Oblik-WMS in the Import Office company.

Before starting the choice of the software product for automation of work of a warehouse, we defined three main objectives which WMS should solve:

  • economy of costs for logistics;
  • increase in controllability of logistic personnel;
  • detailed analysis of key indicators of activity (KPI) of a logistics system.

Was suitable for the solution of the last two tasks, behind a small exception, each of systems considered by us. As a rule, here the key part was assigned to the customer and consisted in the accurate requirement description of the customer to the implemented system and professional calculation of KPI.

However, it was required to us that WMS not only could optimize, organize and take processes of a warehouse in the management (it is usually put in any of the systems of this direction existing today), but also gave the chance to reduce costs for logistics. ... Today, practically all WMS, mean full automation of processes that requires global marking of all entering units and also the maximum use in operation of the expensive equipment (the shipping documentation and printers of labels), it is obvious that it is not always optimal and economic. For cost minimization it was required to us that WMS was completely adapted to specifics of business processes of our warehouse. I.e. expensive the equipment and processes should be used only where they create real economy or considerably optimize work or it is just impossible to do without them, in other cases processes should be standard, convenient performed by and low-cost. Also, important aspect of the cumulative economic effect of implementation of WMS, cost value of the system, its implementation and the subsequent maintenance is. ... Today, later half a year after implementation of Oblik-WMS, we see that we were not mistaken: costs for logistics are reduced by 25%, in comparison with the same period to system implementation, at the same time, the goods turnover increased by 40%, also percent of claims (claims with the subsequent return, dovozy goods or change of issue documents) because of a warehouse began to make less than 0.01%, Evgeny Barkholenko, the logistics director of the Import Office company noted: .
