In December, 2019 in Sberbank branch McDonald’s for the first time opened. To clients of the Moscow office to the address Novoslobodskaya Street, 16 had an opportunity to drink coffee from Makkaf and to order delivery from McDonald’s (the service is provided by Delivery Club).
In cafe there is only one coffee machine. Near it the tablet using which it is possible to make the full order is placed.
In the department there is no kitchen as otherwise clients had to be reconciled with a cookery smell. Nearby in bank department there is a McDonald's restaurant from where food is delivered. Also there is an option of the order for any address, not only in department.
Partners decided to integrate the technologies "for development of the innovation concepts of customer service, analogs which are not present neither in Russia, nor in the world", said in the press release of Sberbank.
Further it is going to open the points of McDonald's integrated with Sberbank branches the common area of waiting.
The first deputy chairman of Sberbank Alexander Vedyakhin noted that the pilot joint project of Sberbank, McDonald's and Delivery Club allows to make stay of clients in departments "more comfortable".
The project was discussed half a year ago. The network of departments — our competitive advantage, but a kliyentopotok decreases — all banking activities can be done online — he said. |
Earlier Alexander Vedyakhin said that the flow of clients in network of Sberbank branches falls (in three-five years it can be reduced by 30%) therefore banks need to attract with something clients, except bank services.
It not first partnership of Sberbank and McDonald's. In September, 2019 they agreed about cooperation in spheres of project financing, studying of consumer market, programs of loyalty and development of a digital ecosystem.
