According to developers, ITIS-KAMAZ  will help to optimize logistic processes and  to improve workflow control

In addition to an intellectual transport information system, the "connected" KAMAZ trucks of new generation (K5) received the onboard information system (OIS) with access to multimedia services of VimpelCom.

The large-scale integrated circuit include navigation and entertaining services (music, video, radio). Besides, a system allows to carry out primary diagnostics of the car and to register in  maintenance.

The chief designer on  the innovation cars of PJSC CAMAZ Sergey Nazarenko says that the large-scale integrated circuit is integrated with  the system of satellite monitoring of ITIS-KAMAZ transport that allows to increase efficiency of vehicle fleet by  20%. It is possible  due to cost reduction on  fuel, quality control of driving, assessment of parameters of automotive equipment  and also thanks to optimization of logistics,  including  using fast methods of information exchange between the logistician and  the driver  online.

VimpelCom and "KAMAZ" intend to continue cooperation in  development of ITIS-KAMAZ and  the large-scale integrated circuit.  In particular, it is planned that in cargo cars will appear ostup to  content services and  Wi-Fi in  a workplace via the specialized portal "Connected Car Beeline".[1]
