On April 29, 2020 the INLINE Technologies company announced a moyernization of processes of activity of the service of service, having used digital models of IT infrastructure. Work is carried out within the corporate program for improvement of tools and methods of service maintenance of customers.

To go to digital modeling the company created the system of technical accounting based on the SDI BASIS platform entered in the Unified register of the Russian programs of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications for electronic computers and databases. Its opportunities allow to implement step-by-step accounting and the description technology, telecommunication and IT infrastructures, to create uniform digital data models for each object and also to exercise general management of a product portfolio and services.

Using this INLINE Technologies system carried out end-to-end inventory of the serviced infrastructure of customers and created "digital doubles" of the equipment with a binding to service contracts. The received digital models are correlated also to warranty contracts of IT manufacturing and cable schedules of clients.

Application of digital models allowed to consolidate information on all nomenclature of manual operating systems in the system of technical accounting and to provide a uniform format of its representation. In a system ample opportunities of search of any objects in serial numbers, contract numbers, terms of service and to other attributes are implemented. The mechanism of requests allows to identify also completely interesting device on the basis of its detailed description: from the physical location in racks or the network address to technical parameters.

The carried-out automation provides to the company a complete picture of service assets on all customers and throughout lifecycle of configuration units of client infrastructure: from planning before decommissioning. In turn, the complete digital description of the equipment facilitates obtaining the end-to-end reporting, simplifies procedures of renewal of service agreements and creates an objective basis for decision making within activity of service of INLINE Technologies service.

Thanks to application of "digital doubles" we managed to accelerate approximately twice information processing, to increase efficiency of service support and to remove excessive bureaucratic loading from IT services of our customers. And all this allows us to reduce cost value of services in service of information systems. – Based on digital modeling we are ready to expand services for clients further: whether it be services of the reporting on the equipment, digitization of information on their infrastructure or integration of technology of "digital doubles" in the monitoring systems used by them, accounting and document flow.
