2021: Implementation of "1C: ERP" for NPP "INTECH "
NPP INTECH automates innovative cable production in partnership with Columbus East.
Experts suggested Columbus Cable - an industry adaptation of the 1C: ERP system. The choice of the system is due to its high functionality, familiarity of the INTERKh NPP team with 1C solutions and the readiness to provide technical support for the implemented solutions by the company's internal forces.
Columbus experts have finalized the system to take into account the specifics of the business processes of the INTECH NPP and integrated it with CRM: now the order registered in the CRM system automatically enters the ERP and is integrated into the production plan, while sales specialists can track the status of the order in the CRM system. Moreover, such through approach to work with orders allows to plan and provide the needs for raw materials, production, release of finished goods and shipment to clients without failures and with accurate observance of the stated terms.
INTERKh NPP faced another difficulty: since each order of the company is an individual product, the process of calculating technological and economic parameters for each order took about 2 weeks. Columbus consultants have developed a specialized module - Cable Designer. The solution allows you to generate a bill of material, planned cost, and a set of cable surcharge according to customer requirements. Using the Cable Designer made it possible to reduce the calculation time to one hour and minimize the possibility of error when calculating the parameters of future products.
Results:
- Create a digital culture and end-to-end business processes for greater efficiency
- Columbus Cable implementation took 9 months. In addition to the launch of the IT system, the business processes of the INTECH NPP were rebuilt: duplication of processes in various departments was excluded, some manual operations were replaced by IT solution functions.
- The construction of end-to-end business processes made it possible to combine 2 physically remote sites into a single system, establishing interaction between administrative personnel working from the office in Ufa and the production site in Sofrino. Now each employee of NPP "INTECH" not only performs its own separate operation, but clearly sees its place in the large-scale processes of the company and consciously contributes to the creation of value for the company's customers.
The new approach to organizing the company's work has increased the transparency of all business processes for both employees and the management and owner of the enterprise: it is easier for managers to monitor the achievement of performance indicators, and for employees to strive to achieve them. With the introduction of 1C: ERP, the company began to work as a single organism.
A knowledge-intensive complex production, an individual approach to cable customers - all this made the project with NPP'INTECH 'interesting for Columbus consultants, "said Yana Bychuk, Columbus Business Development Manager. - I am sure that further cooperation of our companies will be just as fruitful and we will be able to benefit NPP'INTECH '. Columbus and NPP INTECH are already planning to further improve the system: for example, it is planned to introduce forward accounting, which will help more accurately track KPI by cost, performance and optimize the company's production processes. Partners decided to continue to refine business processes and reflect them in the system, for example, introduce a barcode system for products for storage in warehouses.
