The decision on automation of a distributive warehouse in Kiev is made for the purpose of optimization of a supply chain of the made products "IEK" to Ukraine. The IEK company dynamically develops, increasing warehousing capacit and equipping them with a uniform modern warehouse management system, namely, the solution EXceed WMS (Infor WM). This solution was selected by the company as a result of the held tender when opening the central warehouse complex from Podolsk in 2006 and since that time completely is repaid, providing accomplishment of all necessary transactions in warehouses of the company.

As a result of effective cooperation of I2 CIS and "IEK" over the first projects on automation of warehouse complexes the experienced group of implementation from the customer which today, relying on knowledge and experience of consultants of I2 CIS, independently replicates the existing solution working at a warehouse situated near Moscow in Podolsk was created. The high adaptability of Exceed 4000 which allowed the client almost independently at the minimum costs for consulting became one of decisive factors of successful implementation, to start a new warehouse with the business processes optimized under it. The warehouse is started in work in 1.5 months.

Careful work planning on the project became one more important factor of successful implementation. The customer together with experts of I2 CIS developed the detailed plan of implementation, possible risks at a stage of problem definition are revealed and measures for their elimination are provided. Besides, planning allowed to select the most optimal form of participation in the project of consultants of I2 CIS that, on the one hand, significantly reduced costs for the project, and with another – guaranteed the necessary level of support. Point support of the project by specialists of I2 CIS provided, at the separate moments, fast and professional solution of the arising problems, without allowing them to pass into discharge critical for a project success.
