MTS provided with communication the international airport of Vladivostok

The Mobile TeleSystems company (MTS) announced in September, 2013 implementation of the complex project on an indoor-covering of the international airport of Vladivostok. As a result of the carried-out works the voice communication and the high-speed mobile Internet of MTS is present at the territory of all airport.

The voice communication and the mobile Internet from MTS are available in all territory of the airport, with a total area more than 45 thousand sq.m. now: in a zone of a departure of internal and international airlines, including waiting rooms and also in a zone of issue of baggage, a zone of examination and registration, common areas on 1, 2, and 3 floors, in technical and service premises of the airport. Also, the stable relation and the high-speed Internet from MTS is present at the VIP-zones, cafe, shops and bars located in the territory of the terminal of the airport.

Within the project of MTS installed over 100 antennas which provide a complete covering of the building of the Vladivostok airport. The operation principle of these antenna systems is based that each antenna is miniature access point of a radio signal in conditions where the high-quality communication with external base stations is complicated.

MTS develops a communication network in Primorye within the current agreement on social and economic cooperation with administration of Primorsky Krai. Total investment in infrastructure of communication networks of MTS in Primorsky Krai in 2012-2013 will be up to 3.5 billion rubles. One of articles of agreement provides application of modern telecom solutions in the different industries of the economic and social sphere of the region.
