Background

"Benefits from use of an information system of electronic document management according to the SaaS model are obvious to us — Pyotr Ivanov, the IT manager of Ipsen company told media. — First, we were saved from need of acquisition of a specialized software of an electronic document management system, as well as general-system software, such as server operating system and database management system. Also the question of selection or acquisition of the server hardware of a system at us did not stand. Secondly, we got not only remote access to EDMS from any place in the world in which work corresponds to our internal procedures, but also services in its technical maintenance according to the accepted SLA. We created uniform storage of documents with convenient functions of search, thus, significantly having reduced a share of paper documents. In my opinion, the Optima-WorkFlow platform in the relation the price quality exceeds many offers in the market".
"We are not satisfied with what has already been achieved. Thanks to flexibility and openness of the Optima-WorkFlow platform in the nearest future together with Optima software we are going to create based on the existing EDMS a management subsystem projects which main objective will be a planning and control of project budgets — Diana Volkova, the head of legal division of Ipsen company added. — This subsystem will timely provide project managers with complete and up-to-date information, will allow to create statistical and analytical reporting, including using business graphics".
According to the head of department of sales of Optima software Anastasia Shikalova, this project is the large-scale project, the first for Optima, within which the company created and provided access to an electronic document management system according to the SaaS model. "The developed solution will allow employees of Ipsen to process in EDMS contractual documents, accounts and requests for financing with observance of the regulations admitted to the companies" — she added.
