On November 24, 2014 the AXELOT company automated a warehouse of IREKS company based on the 1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management system.

Choosing a Solution

In 2014 the company management of "IREKS" made the decision on automation of a warehouse. The 1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management system was selected from all variety of the software products presented at the market. Implementation of WMS was executed by the AXELOT company taking the leading positions in the market of information technologies.

Goals and Objectives

The tasks to automate all technology processes of a warehouse, including a procedure of selection of products for the principle of FIFO and also processes of shipment and goods acceptance from a warehouse on production and, on the contrary, from make-to-stock production were set for the staff of AXELOT. Besides, it was required to organize marking of the goods arriving from production and from external suppliers.

Project Progress

Having got to work, specialists of AXELOT for only several months developed the scheme of use the WMS system and started it in work. In a project deliverable 8 jobs – 3 stationary and 5 mobile were automated. In conclusion the staff of AXELOT trained personnel and executed integration into "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management".

The warehouse IREKSA complex borders on production, and "1C: WMS" controls how many raw materials for production of goods arrived from a warehouse on production and what quantity of finished goods arrived from make-to-stock production. An opportunity before placement in a warehouse is created to mark each unit of packaging arriving from production and from external suppliers with indication of an expiration date and a batch.

Result

At the moment the warehouse proinventarizovan is also brought into operation. Thanks to the implemented 1C: WMS system the speed and efficiency of all key warehouse processes increased, control of expiration dates is adjusted, losses and costs of IREKS company are reduced.

Implementation of an automated system "1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management" executed by AXELOT allowed IREKS company to increase the speed and efficiency of key warehouse processes, to adjust control of expiration dates, to implement a procedure of selection of products for the principle of FIFO.
