Itella implemented means of structurization of data for processing in the system of analytics

On February 6, 2017 the Corus Consulting company announced project completion of implementation of the multifunction K-Point platform in Itella company.

Project Tasks

The Russian representative office of Itella needed the tool for operational data analysis of warehouse activity. The operator started system implementation of a business intelligence and at the beginning of the project there was obvious a lack of systematization in initial data, impossibility of their effective use in a BI system. Itella made the decision on need to implement the intermediate tool by means of which it is possible to systematize primary data.

Project Progress

A choice of the solution was made for benefit of the multifunction K-Point platform. Main selection terms:

• clear structure of data storage in base,
• simplicity of implementation and setup,
• existence of tools for rapid development and a modiifkation of the user^[1].

Usability of the solution and maintenance by own efforts was required for the operator.

Project Results

Today in Itella Russia is created all necessary infrastructure for use and development of BI tools: from control of accuracy of initial data before increase in efficiency business of the analysis in general. Besides, together with K-Point, the company had an opportunity to use the existing resources for automation of other processes and increase in efficiency without additional investments into IT infrastructure and human resources. K-Point once again confirms the reputation simple in use, but at the same time the effective tool for collecting and systematization of data. Even unprepared users can begin work with the platform in hours after its deployment, and the first results on optimization business processes can be visually shown within several days.
