Ivanko (1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse)

The IVANKO company founded in 1996 specializes in production, import, wholesale of pet goods. The company performs deliveries of goods including to retail network "LE MOURRR" which contains 45 shops of a different format: from small little shops "at the house" to large departments of self-service in hypermarkets. The retail network is provided in St. Petersburg, Togliatti, Krasnodar, Murmansk and also in the cities of the Moscow region.

In 2008 the warehouse of IVANKO company moved. The area of the new warehouse complex located in St. Petersburg is 4000 sq.m. In the nomenclature list of the enterprise more than 10000 positions from which about 6000 active are registered. Storage of accessories, cosmetics, food for animal and veterinary medicines is performed on multilevel cargo racks.

For the purpose of the organization of effective work of a warehouse the decision on its start in operation using the modern WMS system was made. When choosing the software the company management of "IVANKO" considered the following factors: ratio "price/functionality", belonging to the system of the programs "1C: Enterprise", necessary and sufficient standard functionality and also availability of the solution. In an analysis result of the WMS systems existing in the market the joint solution of 1C Company and AXELOT company "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" on a technology platform of 1C:Enterprise 8 was recognized to the most fully meeting stated requirements.

The IVANKO company was going to launch a system in a new warehouse independently, previously having prepared a system and having fulfilled technology of work under its management within trial operation on warehouse section. Besides, the enterprise expected to perform further support and if necessary to carry out modification of the program by own forces. Such opportunity of development of a system is given by features of a technology platform of 1C:Enterprise 8 and architecture "to 1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" in combination with the training of employees of the Customer in work with a system which is carried out during the course of performance each AXELOT project. AXELOT which successfully executed tens of implementations of different level of complexity guaranteed to "IVANKO" carrying out necessary works within the put budget and in extremely short time. Thanks to the listed factors of AXELOT it was selected by the contractor of project works. The AXELOT company was provided by the project manager, the consultant and the programmer. From client side in execution of works, the lasted about one and a half months, the IT director and the specialist in a technology platform of 1C: Enterprise participated.

During trial operation of AXELOT developed the integration mechanism with the trading system of the enterprise, executed input of initial data, made a software setup, prepared work instructions for operators and performed a first initial line support of work with a system. Necessary completions, as well as start of a system in operation in a new warehouse, were made completely by forces of the enterprise of the Customer.

Implementation "1C Logistics: Management of warehouse 3.0" allowed to automate transactions of acceptance, placement, internal transfers, selection, feed and shipment owing to what the speed of task performance increased and performance of work of a warehouse increased, the dependence on qualification of warehouse personnel considerably decreased. In total 8 stationary jobs, in the closest plans of the enterprise – work with radio data collection terminals were automated. Now "IVANKO" independently is engaged in maintenance of a system. The management of the enterprise is satisfied with project deliverables.
