Russlavbank received the certificate of conformity of PCI DSS

On April 25, 2014 it became known of project completion on certification of the systems and processes of Russlavbank bank ensuring safety of storage, processing and data transmission of payment cards in compliance to requirements of the PCI DSS 2.0 standard. The contractor in the project Jet Infosystems company.

Project Tasks

"Compliance of our information systems to high requirements of Visa and MasterCard — one of the most important components of complex information security of bank and, as a result, safety of our clients and also users of the CONTACT system and CONTACT24 service. Clients always trust the reliable and technology developed banks capable to ensure safety of personal information and guaranteeing uninterrupted operation of their payment and card transactions. In close cooperation with Visa and MasterCard we are going to develop even more actively the innovation products and services in field of translation and payments" — Igor Efremov, the vice president of JSB Russlavbank noted.

Project Progress

The partner of the project on ensuring compliance of Bank to the standard - Jet Infosystems company.

At the first stage of the project experts of the company contractor booked preliminary audit of information systems of Bank on compliance to requirements of the PCI DSS standard, estimated the level of their security.

According to the results of inspection created the plan of reduction of IT infrastructure of Bank in compliance to the standard. According to it normative and administrative documents were finished, segmentation of network is carried out, additional resources of data protection are implemented. It allowed to provide compliance to the standard and to increase the level of information security of Bank and Clearing Center of the CONTACT system.

Project Results

The final stage of the project - the final audit booked by the group of experts of Jet Infosystems company, not taking part in project works. Results of audit are accepted by international payment systems of Visa and MasterCard, the Bank received the appropriate certificate.
