JSC EPK Samara (Best Soft: Metrology)

JSC EPK Samara is performed by production and sale of bearings, parts and nodes, EPK group is a part.

The possibility of carrying out precise measurements by production of bearings is a relevant task for ensuring necessary quality of end products, in the investigation of it correct work of metrological service is one of establishing for all Accounting of a Status of Measuring Instruments enterprise at the enterprise was carried out by the Microsoft Office tools that did not allow to create quickly necessary reporting documentation for leadership team. For ensuring optimization of work of metrological service the decision on implementation of a centralized system of accounting of the metrological equipment was made. In a software analysis result for metrological services in November, 2014 the decision on acquisition and implementation of the automated control system for metrological support of the enterprise "was made by Best Soft: Metrology". This solution is caused by functionality of the software product: condition monitoring of the metrological equipment, automatic formation of plans of carrying out metrological works, formation of report forms in necessary for users a section. The contractor on project implementation selected PKF Best Soft LLC company - developer of the software product.

During the project the following works were performed:

• purchase of the software according to requirements;
• personnel training to work with the software;
• software setup under are necessary end users;
• support of the software and user support by specialists of PKF Best Soft LLC.

Implementation "Best Soft: Metrology" allowed to solve the following problems:

• automation of accounting of the metrological equipment;
• planning of carrying out metrological works;
• monitoring of results of carrying out checking and calibration of the metrological equipment;
• report generation for carrying out the plan component analysis of the carried-out metrological works;
• the cost accounting on carrying out metrological works;
• formation of the passport of metrological service;
• monitoring of qualification of employees of metrological division;
• accounting of the specifications and technical documentation.

The information system of accounting of the metrological equipment allowing to make condition monitoring of measuring instruments and to make the plan - component analysis of works within metrological service of the enterprise in a foreground mode became result of works.

During the project five jobs were automated. A system is accepted in commercial operation in December, 2014.
