ARIA was constructed by mini-thermal power plant for JTI factory

The companies ARIA also JTI announced in January, 2016 project completion of construction of mini-TPP at the JTI plant in Yelets. On February 1, 2016 in the territory of the enterprise start of the station in operation took place. The total electric power of TPP was 3.6 MW, thermal – 3.6 MW. Project implementation will allow factory to reduce considerably purchase costs of energy resources, will provide independence of external suppliers electro-and heat power.

"J.T.I. Elets" factory which celebrated the 30 anniversary pays much attention to implementation of innovations and energy efficient technologies. In 2014 the management of factory made the decision on construction in the territory of the plant of own mini-thermal power plant developing electrical and thermal energy from natural gas. Work of the new station should provide independence of increase in rates, uninterrupted operation and quality of supply electro-and heat power.

As the general contractor in project implementation of construction of mini-TPP the ARIA company — the partner of JTI since 1997 acted. For years of joint work at JTI factories in Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Region and Yelets, ARIA a number of projects in the field of creation of engineering infrastructure and industrial automation is implemented.

Within the project of construction of mini-TPP specialists of ARIA executed a full range of works: design, preparation of the platform for construction, supply of equipment, installation, commissioning, obtaining allowing documentation, carrying out acceptance tests before start of mini-TPP in operation.

Execution of mini-TPP — block and modular that allowed to reduce significantly terms of installation and to save the place on the industrial plant site. Four modules in which two gas-piston installations, the steam generator, heat exchangers and transformer substation of 6/0.4 kV were placed are a part of mini-TPP. As the capital generating equipment the customer selected gas-piston units (HPA) of GE Jenbacher — one of world leaders in the field of production of gas engines. Electric power of each installation is 1.819 kW, thermal — 1854 kW.

For ensuring smooth operation of mini-TPP modular containers with GPA are equipped a number of the auxiliary systems: fuel - and a maslosnabzheniye, a gas-exhaust, airgiving and ventilation, heating. Control systems of gas contamination, automatic gas fire fighting, an alarm and security alarm are responsible for safety of work of the station.

Work of mini-TPP is completely automated. All information necessary for control of technology process and operation of the equipment of the power unit arrives on the central console of management installed in dispatching office, directly at the enterprise. Implementation of the automated control system of mini-TPP provides reliable and safe operation due to automatic detection of faults and prevention of development of emergency situations. If necessary operation modes of the station can be controlled far off — through the Internet.

The combined development of thermal and electrical energy — the main direction of energy saving and increase in efficiency of use of primary fuel. The thermal energy developed by mini-TPP is used at the enterprise for heating of premises during a winter time frame. Power of the installed heat exchangers is 284 kW, and the capacity of the steam generator of 1.7 t/h.

— The customer set the task to provide the maximum power generation. We achieved with a general maximum efficiency of mini-thermal power plant of 88% — the director of management of power supply systems of BCC Sergey Narovsky told. — It is very high rate which will provide to the enterprise a fast investment payback: the made electric power will cost several times cheaper purchased.
