Orange Business Services will develop the plan of creation of "smart" infrastructure for Jeddah Tower skyscraper

At the end of March, 2018 it became known that the international service provider Orange Business Services and general builder Jeddah Economic Company signed the agreement within which Orange will develop the detailed plan of creation of information and communication infrastructure of a skyscraper of Jeddah Tower at all stages of construction.

The area of Jeddah Economic City (JEC) will be built on the bank of the Red Sea between two cities of Saudi Arabia — Mecca and Medina. JEC urge to become the new environmentally friendly northern district of the city of Jeddah and the economic center on the coast.

Project objective — to offer the highest level of life in the multifunction environment: residential apartments of different types, offices, shops of retail, vacation spots and entertainments, hotels and sights and also social objects and cultural institutions which will provide to young residents of Saudi Arabia thousands of jobs and a set of investment opportunities in different spheres. Implementation of components of "the smart city" — a crucial step for development of the project, harmless to the environment, providing itself to all necessary of own resources. Construction of infrastructure is performed according to the set working schedule, in parallel with delivery of engineering networks and technical equipment. Next year section will be ready to building, and investors will be able to start construction — Mounib Hammoud, the Jeddah Economic City project manager told.
