New DPC of "Joint credit bureau": 10 million credit stories a day and reserve DPC in addition

The joint credit bureau puts into operation new DPC, the press service of the company reported on February 12, 2013. In the project, as the supplier of the solution of DPC and integrator the Experian company took part.

On April 26, 2012 the director of "The joint credit bureau" Daniel Zelensky announced media the beginning of construction of DPC.

"It is millions of dollars, I will not tell specific digit, - D. Zelensky emphasized. According to him, the experimental design bureau finances this activity independently. - Additional injections are not required, business develops very well, and we have means which we can invest. Shareholders do not require from us to issue extra-profit, and are ready to go on the fact that we will invest revenue in development".

Details

In DPC it is used Experian software, the new equipment and the system software of IBM, CISCO, ORACLE, Microsoft. The full range of the equipment includes a perfect storage system, servers, network equipment, the certified means of multilevel security. The platform selected for DPC is built according to international standards of Tier-3 on classification of TIA-942 standard.

System architecture such is that there is no uniform point of failure (single point of failure - SPOF): all elements are duplicated. The system of power supply has a threefold stock: 2 lines of input of the electric power are duplicated by the diesel generator.

The principle of operation of the equipment of data center gives the chance at interruptions in electricity within 10 seconds to pass to back supply from the diesel generator. During process of transition the DPC will continue to work eating from the powerful uninterruptible power supply unit providing more than 15 minutes of work of DPC at the expense of own resources.

Powerful freon TADR1002 conditioners with the lower air supply will protect from overheating the equipment even in case of repetition of summer-2010, and the multi-layer system of protection on the basis of the certified security aids saves data of borrowers from any attempts of penetration and cracking.

"The DPC is constructed using IT architecture best practices. In a system there is no single point of failure (SPOF), i.e. each element of a system is duplicated at the expense of what just and the increased continuity and availability of services of the Joint Credit Bureau is provided", - Andrey Chistyakov, the CIO of experimental design bureau emphasized.

Reserves are

All data and experimental design bureau services are transferred to new DPC, the previous DPC is requalified in reserve, it is finished and supported in working order. Thus, in case of contingencies of unimaginable complexity which nevertheless will be able to put all life support system of new DPC out of action within 15 minutes the reserve DPC will be connected to work and work of experimental design bureau will be continued.

Result

Project implementation lifted target indicators of continuity and availability of experimental design bureau services to 99.95%. The bureau is able to store credit stories of 150 million Russians and to uninterruptedly process more than 10 million credit stories a day.
