The NCI and KAMAZ will create provider of logistics services

The National Center of Informatization (NCI), subsidiary company of Rostec State corporation, and PJSC KAMAZ within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) signed the memorandum of cooperation increase. The agreement means implementation of a specialized automated system, creation of provider of logistics services and also development of the system of management of the fleet.

The memorandum was signed on June 2, 2017 on PIEF at the stand Rostec in the presence of the CEO of State corporation Sergey Chemezov. Signatures under the document were appended by the CEO of PJSC CAMAZ Sergey Kogogin and the CEO of NCI Konstantin Solodukhin.

Cooperation provides pilot implementation of the automated control system for financial and purchasing activity for the automobile industry developed based on the domestic 1C Platform. In addition the agreement announces the project of creation and pilot start of provider of logistics services of level 4PL (Fourth Party Logistics). KAMAZ will act as the customer and the pilot platform in creation of provider 4PL of services. The NCI will develop and will implement system 4PL and a management system for the fleet (the park of cars).

Will enter tasks of logistic provider: planning, management and optimization of supply chains, planning of transportations, management of uniform warehouse stocks, strategic network planning. Successful work of the 4PL-operator will require creation of a single platform of management of the fleet. It will provide communication of onboard information systems with SaaS of KAMAZ, management of complete lifecycle of the sold automotive equipment using telemetry and cloud solutions and also expansion of a range of the provided services.
