2019: Transfer of corporate mail to a cloud

On October 15, 2019 Softline reported that her experts ensured stable functioning of mail services of Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc company. by means of migration of e-mail on Exchange Online and the Skype for Business Online settings. The customer received the single communication framework meeting the modern requirements to security the simplified administration of a system and could increase corporate mobility.

Used in Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc company. corporate mail based on Microsoft Exchange 2010 became outdated and did not meet the qualifying standards to reliability and security. The management made the decision to transfer a part of infrastructure to a cloud as the cloud solution allows to optimize expenses on upgrade and the maintenance of IT services and requires less attention from administrators. On a competitive basis the partner selected Softline company which has all necessary competences and has wide experience of implementation of similar projects.

At the initial stage the command of Softline booked audit of a directory service of the Active Directory (AD) and made synchronization with Azure Active Directory in Office 365. Specialists performed migration from the current Exchange 2010 on Exchange 2016 and further, having created the hybrid circuit, transferred 200 mailboxes to Exchange Online. Migration happened packets and in time off of the customer that allowed to avoid idle times in work. Also for the client Skype for Business Online was configured and instructions for the independent Microsoft Office Professional Plus installation and migration of archives of users are prepared. In conclusion experts of Softline provided training of IT personnel of the customer in administration of basic functionality.

Migration in a cloud allowed the customer to ensure stable functioning of mail services, to reduce risks of security and to simplify service of IT infrastructure. Advantages of migration were estimated also by users: e-mail began to work more steadily, and access to its data can be got from any device.
