"The Kaluga engine" develops an implementation project of ECM

At engineering enterprise JSC Kaluzhsky dvigatel the implementing solution EOS for SharePoint continues, the press service of the enterprise reported on July 25, 2013.

Project situation

All main business processes of KADVI are automated and successfully work in the integrated circuit of a single system of management. Including, since 2007 a production ERP system and the system of design-technology design functions. Automation and functional approach to management give the chance to properly see all working business processes and their results.

For further development of electronic information environment of the enterprise and creation of a full-fledged corporate content management system and document flow, the management of the enterprise the decision on system implementation of electronic document management is made. The purpose of this work is acceleration of efficiency of processing and transfer of incoming correspondence, acceleration of approval and execution of managerial documents, reduction of paper document flow and time of its passing and also creation of electronic archive for quick search and identification of any entering/proceeding documentation.

Project Progress

A system is selected from the course of the tender held by KADVI. Acquaintance to EOS for SharePoint at the plant began with its deployment on the stock "Fast Start". Within this action the customer obtained 20 temporary licenses "Participant" and also deployment of a standard configuration.

Within a pilot project the EOS for SharePoint system is tested in operation, the first business processes are selected with which transfer of document flow on electronic Wednesday at the first stage is begun.

Full-scale implementation is decided to carry out by own forces of IT department of the enterprise which specialists were trained to administration of a system, the basic principles of its deployment and scaling.

Project perspectives

For July 24, 2013 EOS for SharePoint works on the selected sections in the mode of trial operation. Further, it is going to define perspectives of further development and integration with systems operating at the plant.
