Kari (Columbus WMS is the solution for the distribution center)

Along with operational start of the ERP system the retailer KARI had a need for automation of distribution centers which project of automation was complete along with the main project of control automation by business, Columbus WMS system implementation, the company integrator reported on June 20, 2013.

Solution

Solving of tasks of warehouse logistics within the new project is assigned to the Columbus command and the partner offered the system of the class WMS. Without completions the solution Columbus WMS fitted into unified information environment of the retailer.

Within seven weeks experts of Columbus provided to the warehouse KARI complex necessary high-speed performance regarding management of the entering and outgoing trade flows. For June 20, 2013 the solution Columbus WMS completely controls work of the main distribution center of network, and thanks to integration tools data on a commodity remaining balance and shipments by boxes are updated in ERP. Information on the statuses of execution of orders arrives to the interested users.

Thus, the complex project of automation of network covers all logistics chain of KARI – from planning of orders and distribution by shops of network before sale of goods to the end buyer.
