On August 15, 2017 QNAP announced the Russian representative office delivery of the network drive TDS-16489U integrating in itself the application server and a storage system to Kaspersky Lab company. The project is implemented by the company X-Com.
Project Results
Thanks to two eight-nuclear Intel Xeon processors E5-2630v3 with clock rate of 2.4 GHz and RAM of DDR4 with a capacity of 256 Gbytes the selected modification of TDS-16489U-SB3 provided the high level of performance for intensive calculations and transfer of Big Data.
Combination of function of an automatic tiring of Qtier, 16 disk compartments based on SAS котроллеров (12 Gbps) and supports of interface 40GbE will also allow to use effectively TDS-16489U for mnogourovny information storage and the fastest connections in network infrastructure of the customer.
