Kastorama of RUS upgraded EDMS

On July 21, 2015 the Digital Design company announced end of one more stage of the long-term project of development of an electronic document management system by request of Kastorama RUS LLC.

Project Tasks

The project - continuation of the process of upgrade of an electronic document management system begun earlier and including transition to the version of Docsvision 4.5 and expansion of functionality of EDMS. Works were performed by Digital Design company.

Project Progress

The project team executed upgrade of the reference book of partners, providing to users its web interface with instruments of quick search, expanded cards of partners and contact persons, the additional, previously configured representations.

Specialists of the contractor created the management tool business risks on the approved document thanks to which the approving persons had an opportunity to describe significant, in their opinion, risks. Access to these notes is open for all participants of process, and for additional informing the signer on the sheet of approval the table of risks is output.

Project Results

As a result of completions of EDMS the functionality of a system considerably extended. Users had a possibility of automatic control of the mode of reviewing for the documents Microsoft Word during approval and the subsequent conversion of the final document revision to not edited format of Adobe of PDF for the direction on printout.

Dmitry Mamontov, the head of department of implementation of business systems of Kastorama RUS LLC, noted: "The project allowed to expand functionality of a system and to achieve its maximum compliance to requirements of business of the company. We conduct full-time employment over development of our systems and we monitor their compliance to current demands of our quickly changing business. So, within maintenance of a system, now specialists of Digital Design make migration of EDMS in the new infrastructure domain, and I am sure that it is not our last joint project".
