The Otkrytiye bank connected in the fall of 2016 3D Secure technology for the corporate Visa Business cards. This technology ensures safety when calculating on the Internet.

Upon purchases in online stores the bank will direct the SMS notification with the password which needs to be entered at payment. After password entry between online store and bank the protected connection is established, and identification of the entered data is carried out.

Access to 3D Secure technology is provided automatically and free of charge for all clients who connected service of "SMS info".

Connection of this technology ensures the increased safety at payment of services and goods and also lifts limits for the amount of purchase on the Internet, emphasized in bank.

2014: Khanty-Mansi bank implemented 3D-Secure technology

Khanty-Mansi bank implemented technology 3D-Secure for bank cards of payment systems Visa and MasterCard. As the senior vice president of financial institution Igor Doynikov explained, it provides additional protection of the transactions made by clients on the Internet.

Now at payment of goods and services on the websites of the companies supporting 3D-Secure (Verified by Visa/MasterCard SecureCode), to the clients who connected this service the Sms comes with the special code which should be entered in addition to number of the bank card and other its details. Connection and use of 3D-Secure service is performed free of charge, said in the statement of bank.

"In order that the client had an opportunity to use 3D-Secure service, it is enough to activate of it. It can be done for read seconds using service 'Web banking'. Besides, in the nearest future we are going to implement such opportunity in ATMs and information and payment booths" — Igor Doynikov specified.
