Komfi Trade automated processes of merchandising based on Microsoft Dynamics AX

On April 11, 2017 the Corus Consulting company announced project completion on automation of merchandising of large Ukrainian multi-channel retailer "Komfi Trade". The solution is implemented on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 platform.

From an analysis result of the market and different offers of integrators the partner of the project selected Corus Consulting Group. Specialists of Corus Consulting booked audit of the current system and also developed the IT strategy of further development of a landscape of information systems of Komfi Trade. Considering the recommendations offered by integrator, the company management made the decision on full-scale transfer of all key business processes on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3.

A system had to provide to the buyer uniform service, uniform information on goods and identical goods availability in all sales channels – in traditional shop, on the website of the company and also at call center operators – at any stage of a client way, beginning from search and obtaining information on goods, finishing with delivery of the order and an after-sale service.

Among the main objectives there was not only a development of omnichannel, but also fall forward of implementation of the innovative developments and support of modern formats of shops. During the project the full stroke of merchandising, including automatic calculation of chains of the suborder for all sales channels and also procurement processes, retail, wholesales, sales from a warehouse of the supplier, warehouse transactions and many other things was automated. Within one of the first implementations of the module TMS (Transport Management System) based on Microsoft Dynamics AX the transport logistics, including the goods delivery to the client and trunk delivery was transformed. Automation of accounting of retrobonuses of suppliers and also formation of necessary managerial cuts of cost value for pricing, settlings with suppliers and other purposes became feature of the project.

Many options became available in a format of settings, also in time after implementation we could already make changes which were impossible in old ERP.
