Komlayn Group puts forward the corporate systems in "cloud"

Komlayn Group selected ActiveCloud "cloud" for placement of the solution 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management (1C of management of manufacturing plants).

Task

Due to growth of the company and increase in number of business processes the decision on transfer in "cloud" of ERP- and CRM systems based on 1C is made. On predesigns their local placement would require the high-performance equipment, the special software and also setup and support of solutions that it was rather difficult and expensive task. Therefore the company selected option of removal of systems to ERP-and CRM-in a cloud that led to considerable cost optimization and reduction in cost of service.

Solution

After carrying out the analysis of providers of cloud solutions as cloud infrastructure for project implementation the service of CloudServer (IaaS) from ActiveCloud by Softline company was selected. For testing of opportunities of CloudServer'a ActiveCloud created a prototype of future infrastructure in a cloud on which overload tests were carried out. By their results the decision on deployment of the IT system of 1C in ActiveCloud cloud was made.

Within preparation of the technical platform specialists of ActiveCloud installed the Windows Server 2008 R2 operating systems, the MS SQL Server database server, performed tunings of network interfaces, routing and remote access and also customized necessary security systems.
