2020: Implementation of NBT

The company NORBIT (enters into group LANIT) announced on February 25, 2020 end of the first stage of the project on creation automated control system by purchases in power the company "Koryakenergo". The platform NBT developed by NORBIT company is the cornerstone of the solution. Main objectives of the project - increase in efficiency and decrease in operating costs due to process automation of purchasing activity according to requirements of Federal law No. 223-FZ and internal regulations of the customer.

The implemented purchasing system provides uniform rules of work in all involved divisions, allows to increase efficiency and quality of training of documents at each stage of purchasing activity, including formation of purchase plans, procurement and contractual documentation. It also helps to reduce terms of approval of documents within processes of purchasing activity.

Key advantage of the solution - use in its basis of the NBT platform developed using approaches of low-code development. It allows to put the solution into commercial operation in the shortest possible time and also to provide a possibility of operational adaptation of the solution to any changes of the legislation and regulatory documents of the company.

The possibilities of the solution connected with administration, formation of business objects, business process management (using the visual BPMN designer), preparation of the reporting and setup of schemes of integration with other systems, will allow the customer to customize a system according to the purposes of the company and current trends in the field of purchasing activity and business process automation.

The main characteristics of the solution on the NBT platform: the cross-platform allowing to unroll the solution on Windows or Linux-servers and to use different databases (MS SQL Postgres etc.), including to exclude dependence of the companies on foreign SOFTWARE; the scalability providing a possibility of use of the solution in the large companies of federal scale; the microservice architecture simplifying development and operation of the solution; the flexible license policy significantly influencing total cost of ownership the solution.

Start of a system on the platform with the BPM designer became for us the beginning of complex process automation of purchases. We calculate that a system will become the key tool in purchase management, will increase quality and effectiveness of purchasing activity in our company.
