On December 20, 2013 the Digital Design company announced completion of implementation of the automated control system (ACS) of IT on the OmniTracker ITSM Center platform at the Krastsvetmet enterprise.
Biography
Need of implementation of a new ACS of IT arose on Krastsvetmeta as the solution Service Desk used at the enterprise became morally outdated. Besides, the management of IT of Krastsvetmet was going to optimize management, being guided by the international standards ITSM and the recommendations of ITIL. It is possible to solve assigned tasks implementation of the IT automated control system on the basis of OmniTracker ITSM Center afterwards to integrate it with other systems of the enterprise.
The choice of the platform and the company integrator is made within the tender (the starting price of the agreement of 1.567 million rubles) according to the results of which the management of IT of Krastsvetmet stopped the choice on OmniTracker ITSM Center and Digital Design company.
Project Progress
Within the project the Digital Design command conducted examination of IT processes of the enterprise and jointly with specialists of IT departments of the customer executed design according to the ITSM standard. Having completed preparatory work, carried out system deployment and implemented processes of management of addresses, incidents and works.
The project team of Digital Design executed solution integration with main systems in infrastructure of the customer and provided support at a stage of trial operation.
Project Results
With implementation of an ACS of IT, the enterprise customer found considerable transparency of IT processes, relevant analytical base for acceptance of management decisions, optimized resource and temporary planning. For December, 2013 20 specialists of IT department daily process up to 90 addresses arriving from 700 users.
