Kubanenergo installed more than 3 thousand "smart" counters in Tuapse

Specialists of the Sochi branch PJSC Kubanenergo (enters into the Rosseti group) installed at the beginning of 2017 more than 3 thousand multifunction metering devices in Tuapse and Tuapsinsky District. Events are held within implementation of power service contracts.

Kubanenergo installed more than 3 thousand "smart" counters in Tuapse

Mounting works of counters of new generation in Tuapsinsky District began last year. The consumers who are directly attached to the electric networks of Kubanenergo (both individual apartment houses, and the enterprises, objects of business) receive them free of charge. Installation is carried out at the expense of means of the investor with the subsequent return of the invested capital thanks to increase in power efficiency.

– First of all counters are useful to the subscriber, in the second – the electric grid company. They allow to save the electric power, being calculated on zones of day. At the same time the consumer does not bear a burden of property and operation as the network company is engaged in service of metering devices, – the First Deputy CEO – the director of the branch of PJSC Kubanenergo explains the Sochi electric networks Edgar Armaganyan.

The metering device performs a number of useful functions. It can be programmed on multitariff accounting and to postpone operation of power-intensive devices to night. It will allow to reduce payment of the consumed electric power considerably. "Smart" counters also protect electric devices from differences of tension in network. The device monitors electric power figures of merit and if they go beyond regulation, then it will automatically disconnect the house, and after recovery of the normal mode will include again.

Owners of multifunction metering devices get rid of visits of inspectors of power supply companies and controllers, receiving invoices for payment of the electric power by mail. Readings are taken from the counter remotely: the systems of "smart accounting" represent a complex of the modern digital devices united in a single network. Information from consumer devices is transferred to a master server around the electric networks where the operator takes readings from counters and transfers these data to power supply companies.

Installation of counters is made on power transmission line support near buildings. In parallel power engineering specialists replace also the wires bringing to houses. Instead of a naked metal wire it is used self-supported the isolated (VULTURE) – more reliable, eco-friendly and safe.

Specialists of Kubanenergo already held events for installation of "smart counters" in a number of the districts of Tuapse, the settlements of Novomikhaylovsky, Olginka, Nebug, Georgiyevskoye and other settlements. Works are continued. In total power engineering specialists will install about 20 thousand modern metering devices of the electric power in the Sochi energorayon.
