In Kurskenergo the control system and electricity metering is improved

On substations Zhukovka, Zolotukhino, Bobryshevo, Shumakovo and "Oboyan" of IDGC of Centre branch of JSC — Kurskenergo on border of balance sheet accessory about JSC "Russian Railways" (Russian Railways) completes the works on creation of a control system and electricity metering at subjects of the wholesale market of the electric power (WMEP).

The automated information measuring system of commercial electricity metering (AIIS KUE) is intended for accounting of the consumed or released electrical energy. In addition, creation of the similar systems is necessary for work on wholesale or the retail electricity markets (REM) and information exchange between adjacent subjects by — the generating, network and sales companies, regional dispatching office.

Using this system collecting, processing, data transmission on commercial accounting of electrical energy on border with JSC FGC UES — Main Power Networks of the Center on substations Gubkin and Southern, with branches of JSC "Rosenergoatom Concern" — "The Kursk nuclear power plant" and JSC Kvadra — "The Kursk regional generation" (the Kursk CHPP-1, TETs-4) is performed. These data are transferred within the data exchange agreements defining formats, frequency and methods of information transfer.

Accounting of electrical energy at subjects of wholesale market in IDGC of Centre branch of JSC — Kurskenergo is performed using the AIIS KUE since 2005. At the moment a system includes 614 information and measuring complexes (from them 85 — on ORE) based on multifunction electronic counters of a class of accuracy 0.5S of world leading manufacturer Elster Metronika.

The associate director on technical issues — the chief engineer of IDGC of Centre branch of JSC — Kurskenergo Rudnevsky Alexander noted: "Input in continuous operation of the AIIS KUE on border of balance sheet accessory from JSC "Russian Railways" will allow to reduce commercial losses due to increase in accuracy of commercial accounting and also to obtain reliable information about consumption of electrical energy and to create new outlook in customer relations on the principles of mutual respect".
