2019: Delivery of the next batch of DevLink-C1000 controllers

"The Kuzbass power network company" ("KENK") services about 15 thousand km of the electric networks and more than 3 thousand transformer substations. 24 branches in localities of the Kemerovo region fall within services industry of the company.

Work progress

In the first quarter 2019 delivery of the next batch of DevLink-C1000 controllers (33 pieces) is made for control cabinets by distribution and transformer substations and control cabinets reklouzer on the power transmission line. Works on expansion of a system are performed by personnel of KENK LLC at technical support of Krug company.

Results

On a response of the customer, use of industrial DevLink-C1000 controllers together with the Russian SCADA KRUG-2000 provided effective solution of problems of collecting, processing and data transmission in dispatcher stations of branches and head office "KENK" and also problems of supervisory control with the equipment (cells of substations, reklouzer) from the level of branches.

Implementation of ASDKUE gave the following effects:

  • reduction of the general time of de-energization of power consumers by 4-5 times
  • decrease in number of deenergized consumers by 3-4 times
  • decrease in the nedootpusk of the electric power connected with emergency shutdowns by 2-3 times
  • substantial increase of "observability" of a system up to 95%
  • optimization of work of operational mobile teams with reduction of quantity and duration of departures.

For the end of April, 2019 in ASDKUE 378 DevLink-C1000 controllers under control of an automated workplace of the managers located in 21 branches of the company function.

Objectives

Until the end of 2019 delivery of 27 more controllers and also delivery of the SCADA KRUG-2000 for the organization of two new client places and accomplishment of a software update in four branches "KENK" is planned.

2018: Integration into ASDKUE of 72 more power grid objects

Within an investment program of energy saving of the Kuzbass power network company (Kemerovo) development of an automated system of dispatching control and accounting of energy consumption (ASDKUE) based on KRUG-2000 software and hardware complex (PTK KRUG-2000) continues. In 2018 72 more power grid objects are integrated into a system.

2017: Development of ASDKUE

On July 26, 2017 announced NPF Krug development of an automated system of dispatching control and accounting of energy consumption based on KRUG-2000 software and hardware complex as a part of CIS of "The Kuzbass power network company".

In 2017 53 power grid objects are integrated into a system.

Use of industrial DevLink-C1000 controllers together with the Russian SCADA KRUG-2000 provided effective solution of problems of collecting, processing and data transmission in dispatcher stations of branches and head office "KENK", problems of supervisory control with the equipment (cells of substations, reklouzer) from the level of branches.

For July 26, 2017 as a part of ASDKUE more than 300 DevLink-C1000 controllers under control of an automated workplace of managers in 20 branches of the company function.

2016: Project Continuation

On August 16, 2016 the NPF Krug company announced continuation of works on development of an automated system of dispatching control and accounting of energy consumption (ASDKUE) in networks of "The Kuzbass power network company" on the platform of KRUG-2000 software and hardware complex.

Since 2015 delivery of industrial DevLink-C1000 controllers in number of 70 pieces for control cabinets by distribution and transformer substations, control cabinets reklouzer on the power transmission line is carried out. Delivery of the SCADA KRUG-2000 for the organization of client places is executed, the software update in three branches "KENK" is executed.

Specialists of "KENK", (2014) work

Use of DevLink-C1000 controllers together with the SCADA KRUG-2000 provided effective solution of problems of collecting, processing and data transmission in dispatcher stations of branches and head office "KENK", problems of supervisory control with the equipment (cells of substations, reklouzer) from the level of branches.

For August 16, 2016 in a system 254 DevLink-C1000 controllers under control of an automated workplace of managers in 20 branches of the company function.

Works on system implementation are performed by personnel of KENK LLC at technical support of private pension fund specialists Circle.

2015: Project Development

On April 23, 2015 the NPF Krug company announced expansion of a system of dispatching control and accounting of energy consumption in networks of "The Kuzbass power network company"[1].

Exposure of "KENK", 2015

For April 23, 2015 works of the third stage of implementation are conducted. Works on creation of a full-scale automated system of dispatching control and accounting of energy consumption (ASDKUE) in networks of "The Kuzbass power network company" on the basis of PTK KRUG-2000 are continued. In April, 2015 delivery of the next batch of industrial DevLink-C1000 controllers (44 pieces) is made for control cabinets on substations and control cabinets reklouzer on the power transmission line.

Use of DevLink-C1000 controllers together with the Russian SCADA KRUG-2000 provided effective solution of problems of collecting, processing and data transmission in dispatcher stations of branches and head office "KENK", problems of supervisory control with the equipment (cells of substations, reklouzer) from the level of branches. As controllers collecting and preprocessing of technology information from counters of electrical energy, microprocessor devices of protection, reklouzer and the USPD enters.

2012-2014: Pilot. Commissioning of the first and second stage of a system

The pilot project of ASDKUE is started in 2012. Works on creation and commissioning of the first and second queues of a system executed NPF Krug in cooperation with "The Kuzbass power network company" during 2013 - 2014.

Project Progress

In a system 172 DevLink-C1000 controllers under control of an automated workplace of the managers located in 20 KENK branches function. By means of function of multiserver access the SCADA KRUG-2000 managers of head office of the company obtain information from all servers of branches.

At head office Kuzbass Power Network Company LLC and Power Network Kiselyovsk branch the pilot project of a system of dispatching control and accounting of energy consumption on the PTK KRUG-2000 platform is put into operation.

The automated system of dispatching control and accounting of energy consumption (ASDKUE) in networks of "The Kuzbass power network company" provides collecting, processing and data transmission in dispatcher stations of head office and branch for the purpose of their visualization and storage. Data collection is made on the equipment installed on transmission lines, distribution and transformer substations. In a system function of supervisory control is implemented by the equipment of level of branch.

Architecture and components

ASDKUE is constructed as the hierarchical integrated automated system with centralized operation and distribution function of measurement, implemented on the PTK KRUG-2000 platform and provided by three territorially and functionally distributed levels of data collection and processing.

As a part of the first level (PS, TP, power Transmission Line level) the programmable logic controllers of data collection of DevLink-D500 collecting data from microprocessor devices of protection and counters (PS), USPD-164-01M (TP) electrical energy and reklouzer (power transmission line).

The second level (branch) includes the archive server of collecting, processing and data storage combined with an automated workplace of the manager and the operating dispatching board with its server.

The third level (head office) includes the server and the automated workplace of clients of head office in the city of Kemerovo.

Controllers are installed on PS in the special cabinets having degree of protection of not less IP54. As communication channels between DevLink-D500 and power meters with the RZA microprocessor terminals digital RS485 interfaces are used.

Communication channel between DevLink-D500 and automated workplaces of the manager of level of branch serve two reserved communication channels on the basis of Ethernet and GPRS. In link quality of communication between the USPD and the automated workplace of the manager of branch is used by GSM (network of the CSD format), between a reklouzer and an automated workplace of the manager of branch – GPRS.

For communication of an automated workplace of the manager of branch and the server of head office the allocated channel the Internet with the configured VPN tunnel is used. Communication between intra-level components of level of branch and components of level of head office is performed by the Ethernet local computer network.
