The car dealer "LADA Image" completes upgrade of a corporate portal

The consulting IT company bright box upgraded the dealer portal for LADA Imidzh Ltd, the company contractor reported on March 4, 2013.

The distributor "LADA Image" carried out upgrade of the dealer portal. Works on development of functionality of the portal solution were carried out by bright box company.

Consolidates communications with dealers on all questions concerning supply logistics of spare parts in the dealer portal constructed on Microsoft SharePoint Server technology of LADA Imidzh Ltd (from acceptance of the order before implementation of delivery and payment). The portal provides a possibility of monthly holding application campaigns with receiving a feedback by dealers about the status of processing of their purchase orders. At the same time employees of dealers via the portal obtain information on the actual shipment of spare parts.

The task is set for the company contractor: expand functionality of the portal due to implementation of modules of document flow and the publication of documents.

That a system worked more effectively, specialists of bright box separated competences for employees of the dealers supervising different activities of the enterprise. In the initial version of the portal one account in a system was selected for each dealer, and different divisions of the dealer were forced to work under one login and the password. Now each of employees of dealers got access to those sections which are necessary for it for work.

The module of document flow provided routing of the entering and outgoing documents of Lada-Imidzh Ltd.

One more block which expanded systems capabilities - the module of the publication of documents. The module increased efficiency of approval of documents, having removed need of exchange of their original versions and also provided a possibility of storage in the uniform place of all history on process of signing of documents for delivery of spare parts to dealers.

Increase in efficiency and convenience of information exchange between LADA Imidzh Ltd and dealers, decrease in quantity of labor costs of staff of LADA Imidzh Ltd on order processing and report generation, exchange of documents with partners and control of execution of instructions became result of project implementation.

Ivan Mishanin, the managing director, bright box, noted: "Partner interaction and partners via the portal – the accepted world practice of building of the relations between distributors of products and dealers which proved the efficiency. Modern platforms for creation of portal solutions at the correct setup leave ample opportunities for the maximum automation of information exchange. Thanks to harmonious work with a command of LADA Imidzh Ltd we managed to implement the project on expansion of functionality of the portal used by the company in enough short time: work from preparation of the technical project before start in operation, including setup of add-on modules, took less than half a year".

Upgrade of the dealer portal for us is necessary first of all for increase in efficiency of our partner interaction, for process automation of information exchange between us that as a result will allow to improve supply logistics of spare parts to our end consumers – owners of the LADA cars".
