The 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) completed the project on automation of transport logistics and work of mobile representatives at the distributor of alcoholic beverages, famous in the area, – Legion companies. The project is implemented using the software product "1C:Enterprise 8. Expansion for pocket computers" which allows to automate work of sales representatives most effectively.
Thanks to implementation "1C:Enterprise 8. Expansion for pocket computers" 45 sales representatives of the company had the accessibility to the unified information system via the PDA. It allowed to obtain "fresh" data quickly:
- about an order status,
- time of its assembly,
- existence of the necessary products in warehouses,
- about a status of settlement with clients,
- and also to create and print primary documents and reports directly in the presence of the client.
Now for order placement sales representatives do not need to spend time for information transfer by phone to call center operators, it is enough to enter the order to the CPC only. Further on the GPRS channel the order is broadcast on a warehouse and in department of logistics in a few minutes. When obtaining the request to order from the agent a system automatically creates necessary documents (the request for delivery, the assembly sheet for storekeepers, etc.), and storekeepers with logisticians begin preparation of the order for delivery.
Use of new technologies in work of agents allowed to reduce twice costs on corporate cellular communication since data transmission cost by several orders via the GPRS channel with the CPC is much lower than the cost of discussion of similar orders by the mobile phone with the call center operator at office. Also the number of forced agency calls is reduced by a warehouse and to logisticians with the purpose to trace a status of the interesting order.
