2024: Creation of a tool for planning and analyzing the placement of goods in commercial hypermarket zones

The Leman Missile Defense commercial operations team, together with Korus Consulting specialists, has developed a tool for planning and analyzing the placement of goods in commercial hypermarket areas. The IT solution reduced the time to fill in data from two weeks to two days, as well as reduced the number of accounting errors by up to 1%. This has made the assortment planning process more transparent and operational. Corus Consulting announced this on November 11, 2024.

In the hypermarkets "Lehman Missile Defense" at the entrance to the departments are PAC (French Le plan d'action commercial) - commercial areas of assortment planning. They are created according to the principles of zoning the store and allow customers to see the most popular and strategically important products of each department of Lehman Missile Defense, as well as introduce them to the new assortment. Sales of these products make a significant contribution to the total turnover of Lehman Missile Defense products.

To optimize work in PAC-zones, Lemana Missile Defense turned to the specialists of KORUS Consulting. Previously, it was impossible to promptly exchange information about the availability and quantity of products in commercial planning areas between the central office and the hypermarket - all operations were carried out in Excel tables. The lack of an automated solution led to errors and the inability to track changes in real time.

The situation has changed due to the emergence of an automated workplace system. In it, you can enter data in real time and this allows all employees to see updates in a convenient and online format. As a result, the planning process was reduced by three weeks, the labor costs for administration decreased by half. In addition, previously only one person could manage data, and now up to 200 users work on the system at the same time.

This tool allows you to increase not only operational efficiency for the company, but also the quality of customer service. Now employees, thanks to planning and monitoring using the system, always have up-to-date information about the presence and quantity of goods in the PAC zone, - said Evgeny Podyavilov, head of projects for commercial operations at Leman Missile Defense.

The IT solution was launched in 2023. Lemana Missile Defense is actively developing the product and is already integrating it into other commercial zones, for example, into the central podium of the store and the PAC of the marketplace.

The IT solution created for Lehman Missile Defense ensures transparency of inventory and discount data on PAC products and helps to plan department development strategies.
