The Lengiprotrans company carries out upgrade of the workflow system

The Digital Design company completed updating of an electronic document management system based on DocsVision 4.1 to version 4.5 and the subsequent transfer of settings and documents in JSC Lengiprotrans company.

Solution

In the course of implementation there were features. Oleg Greshnev, the director of the department of corporate systems, Digital Design, explained: "The initial version of a system was implemented other company. Therefore contractors were faced by a task - to understand specifics of settings and features of the DocsVision 4.1 installation. We successfully updated a system, carried out extra works on optimization of performance of the new version. Lengiprotrans had new opportunities for increase in efficiency of workflow that will help the company to work quickly and to develop dynamically further".

Result

As a result solution performance increased, interaction of users with EDMS became simpler. Lengiprotrans needed updating of a system as there was not enough its productivity for the volume of tasks which appeared at the company lately. As the project organization used three years the DocsVision platform, the decision not to implement a new system, and to update already available was made.

Opinion

Alexander Kosheverov, the head of SIT OKA JSC Lengiprotrans, noted satisfaction of the company with functioning of a system, however upgrade as the former version practically did not cope with the volume of tasks was required, it was required to automate additional business processes. The company decided not to implement the new platform, and just to update available as, according to Kosheverov: "... in our eyes DocsVision already managed to prove as a reliable and effective system".
